Tour Plan

Included Experiences
* Walking through the bustling Old Quarter with thirty-six streets

On the first day of the tour you will reach Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. A city famous for its combination of traditional beauty and modern hustle and bustle. Hanoi retains a gentle antiquity, with streets of green trees dotted along cool lakes.
When visiting Hanoi, the tour leader will welcome you and take you on a short orientation tour of the city. You’ll wander through the vibrant streets of the bustling Old Quarter, each named after different crafts: Silk Street, Paper Street, Sail Street etc. They have been here since the 13th century. These thirty-six streets filled with colourful goods for sale are known by locals as the maze in the heart of the city. Walking in the old quarter, you will be able to observe the classical architectural styles with narrow facades, mossy tile roofs, worn yellow paint evoking the Indochinese spirit of the past. You will find that these small alleys can take you anywhere.
And at the end of the day, there is nothing better than enjoying cool beers on the sidewalk in Tay streets, maybe dining on a lotus-stem salad (nom ngo sen), fried tofu (dau chien ron) and watching the rhythmic life of Hanoi flowing before your eyes.

On the second day, after breakfast, you will join a Hop-on Hop-off bus for Hanoi’s cycle city tour: from down town, with picked up point from Frog Flower Garden to Military History Museum, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex where the father of modern day Vietnam declared the nation's independence in 1945, Presidential Palace built by the French colonialists in the early 20th century, Ho Chi Minh's House of Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, Hanoi Cathedral, Vietnamese women’s Museum, Hanoi Opera House. Visit the intricate Ngoc Son Temple that resides on Hoan Kiem Lake, alleged home of an infamous 200kg turtle named Cu Rua.
After a soft lunch, you will be taken to the Bay of Tonkin on the Northeastern coast in Vietnam. Your destination is Ha Long Bay, one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in Asia.
Ha Long Bay has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and is on many lists of natural wonders of the world. Ha Long translates to “The place where the dragon descends to the sea”. This name was born from the otherworldly natural setting, where clusters of limestone islets rise from the clear jade green water. Legend has it that a dragon came down from the sky, vigorously swung its tail and created the natural wonder that is Ha Long Bay. The dragon’s scales remain in the sparkling turquoise of the sea.

Enjoy an early breakfast before boarding an express bus to Sapa, is about 370 kilometres north of Hanoi. Sapa is a town in Northern Vietnam, located about 370 kilometres north of Hanoi. Being a stone’s throw from the Chinese border, Sapa is home to several ethnic tribes, namely the H’mong and Yao groups, the Tay, Zay and a small number of Xa Pho. Sapa is a hidden treasure with many miracles of natural scenery. The green of the forest, the white of the mist, and the yellow of the rice fields paint a majestic picture of the collaboration between nature and people.  Sapa is gifted with a moderate and cool climate in the summer, wet and foggy and cold in winter with many diverse nuances.
The high altitude means that the region is often embraced by passing clouds, turning Sapa into the city in the mist, a fairytale land on Earth. Life is slow and gentle in Sapa, where the economy relies primarily on agriculture and tourism. The town of Sapa is small and easy to navigate, with minimal car traffic.

Around 10 kilometers outside of Sapa lies the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van. These are the villages of the Black H'mong and Red Dao ethnic tribe. These villages are situated in the Muong Hoa valley in the stunning Hoang Lien Son Mountain range.
On the 5th day, you will travel to Cat Cat village, known for its waterfalls and water mills, and Lao Chai village of Red Dao tribe or Ta Van village of H’Mong tribe. At Ta Van, the local people's life is still very idyllic, quiet, not noisy and urbanized like other villages in this mountainous region of Sapa. Unlike Cat Cat village, Ta Van village in the Mong ethnic language, means a large arc, because the village leans against the Hoang Lien Son Mountain range and the front is a winding Muong Hoa stream. You will experience the living space of these indigenous peoples, with thatched-roof houses on the mountainside built from the soil and wood of the H'Mong tribe.

Trekking trips have many levels from easy to difficult, depending on your experience and needs.
