Xôi bảy màu (Seven-color sticky rice) Tour. Seven-color sticky rice is a typical dish of the ethnic minorities living in Lao Cai. As the name suggests, sticky rice has seven colors including white, magenta, pink, light blue, green, purple and yellow. To color the sticky rice, local people use a variety of completely natural leaves and fruits. It helps you feel all the distinctive flavors of the mountains and forests. This dish is mostly served during special occasions including Tet Holiday to bring good luck.

Your arrival fight to Hanoi. You will be met your tour local guide who'll accompany you at Noi Bai airport or at your hotel. After some time to relax enjoy welcome lunch or dinner. Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and the second-largest city in the country. It’s also the jumping-off point for exploring the spectacular scenery around Northern Vietnam. A short orientation tour of Hanoi city, through the bustling streets of the city’s Old Quarter, whose narrow streets are named after the various crafts and specialties of the city's artisans: Paper Street, Silk Street, Basket Street etc. This practice dates back to the 13th century, when the city's original 36 guilds established themselves here, adopting a street each to differentiate them from their neighbors. The maze of alleys and streets present a fascinating venue to explore on foot and the area is known for its interesting 'tube' houses, where the narrow frontages give way to long rooms that stretch back from streets, whose pavements are littered with food sellers tempting passers-by with all manner of noodles, snacks and stir-fried delights from shoulder panniers.

After breakfast, a morning bike riding tour around Ho Tay (West Lake). Then you will start the journey to drive straight to the hundreds-year-old traditional handicraft Bat Trang ceramic village. It is a rural countryside village situated on the left bank of the Hong river and about 15 km from Hanoi in the East (in Gia Lam District, Hanoi), which is the most famous and long-standing pottery village in Vietnam. During a guided walk on the local market, you will see fresh fruit, an abundance of herbs, fresh flowers, meat, fish and frogs. Sample fresh spring rolls, small pancakes or 'bun cha', a dish with noodles and pork.

This memorable day marks the start of your one overnight cruise around the awe-inspiring Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a vision of ethereal beauty. Joining smaller “junk” boats within mystical seascape, you'll explore these marvellous islands, over two thousand limestone karsts protrude through the azure waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, intricate limestone rock formations and hidden wave-eroded grottoes on a luxury cruise boat. Begin with a visit to small islands Cho Da, Trong Mai and a fishing village by rowing boat, a floating settlement dating back hundreds of years. After lunch, continue to cruise to Luon cave, then Titop island, making stops for sightseeing, swimming and kayaking. Stop at the bay near Titop island where the boat will anchor overnight. Sapa is located in the Lao Cai Province of Vietnam and is a region that draws visitors from across the world. The town is situated on the side of one of the many mountains in the massive Hoang Lien Son Mountain range and overlooks the valley below. The valley floor is filled with rice terraces that change from bright green to yellow depending on the time of year that you visit. Most people visit Sapa to immerse themselves in the gorgeous landscape through trekking expeditions as the roads aren’t great and there are well-maintained footpaths. Exploration of community-based travel and trekking in the region of Lao Cai Sapa is a definitely travelling choice.
Early morning you get off the express bus stops in the center of Sapa town. After having breakfast at a local restaurant in Sapa town, start your tour with Ta Van village.
Located 12 km from Sapa town, Ta Van village, one of the few ethnic minority villages in Sapa region that you can easily reach. At Ta Van, the local people's life is still very idyllic, quiet, not noisy and urbanized like other villages in this mountainous region of Sapa. Unlike Cat Cat village, Ta Van village, in the Mong ethnic language, means a large arc, because the village leans against the Hoang Lien Son Mountain range and the front is a winding Muong Hoa stream. Located far from the center of Sapa town, it is still extremely wild, bearing the lifestyle of the mountainous ethnic people here. Going to Ta Van village, you will be immersed in the idyllic life of the Mong, Red Dao and Giay ethnic groups.Coming to Ta Van village in the season when people bring water to the fields, you will see the terraced fields like giant silver-white mirrors. In the summer, the terraced rice fields are green and cool. Autumn is also the golden season, the harvest season, the season when many tourists find their way up to Ta Van village to see the sea of golden rice. In spring, you will see the old houses mixed with the bright pink color of peach blossom and the white color of pear and plum flowers. In winter it will be covered with light snow.
The local person works in the fields in every morning, knitting and weaving in the evening. To them, tourists are like pilgrims passing by, coming and going. You will experience a quiet life, away from the noisy and crowded mordent city. You can experience the type of community-based tourism that is to spend the night in homestays of indigenous people, eating local meals, wearing the ethnic costumes of local people; shopping and attending fairs; Immerse yourself in the cultural festivals of the ethnic people. The people of Ta Van Sapa are not too exuberant and quick to make you uncomfortable but also not superficial, still giving you a feeling of friendliness, honesty and hospitality. Experience trekking and walking to visit Ta Van or Lao Chai or Giang Ta Chai villages. You’ll have gorgeous views of the valley, beautiful waterfall and the river below for the entire length of the trek. Lao Chai village is just about 6.5 kilometers east of Sapa town. The locals here are referred to as “black Hmong” as their traditional clothing is thick jackets. Giang Ta Chai is the next village down the valley from Ta Van. It is about 4 kilometers easy walking down to Cau May waterfall situated at the base of Giang Ta Chai.

Ninh Binh is a province located in the south of Hanoi, about 100 kilometres from Hanoi and it takes about one hour by car. With unspoiled nature, charming scenery, Ninh Binh is one of the famous tourist destinations of Northern Vietnam. Coming to Ninh Binh, you will have an opportunity to visit the natural heritage and world cultural heritage like Trang An, Bai Dinh pagoda, Tam Coc Bich Dong, Van Long natural lagoon or visit the ancient capital Hoa Lu, Cuc Phuong national forest and Thung Nham bird park.Trang An boat trip and Bai Dinh Pagoda visit. In the morning time arriving in Ninh Binh, you go to Trang An wharf to board a boat along the stream in the middle of rice fields to visit Trang An tourist area – a world cultural and natural heritage with limestone ranges, valleys, natural caves and knitted river. They make a special fanciful, mysterious space. Then if the time is available, you will visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest temple in Vietnam with its campus having an area of 107 hectas.
In the afternoon, you will visit Thung Nham bird park. You can choose a ferry or a special car to go to Thung Nham, the bird garden is home of more than natural 50,000 birds with 40 species of birds such as cauldrons, storks, herons, teals, fire warblers etc. and precious birds such as flamingos or phoenixes.

Leaving Saigon behind, embark on a two-night cruise along the fascinating network of rivers in the Mekong Delta that will journey all the way up to Saigon. Depart early in the morning with an excursion on long rowing sampan boats allowing you to meander through the small canals of Tan Phong islet. This afternoon the boats will moor at the charming colonial town of Sa Dec. Famous for its beautiful flower gardens, the small, sleepy town is truly a hidden gem on the Mekong Delta. Return to the vessel for a sunset cruise and dinner on board.
Arrive at Cao Lanh in the morning and after breakfast disembarks for a morning excursion to Tan Thuan Dong islet where you can enjoy a gentle cycle around the winding roads or simply explore the area by foot. As the boat manoeuvres through Cho Vam canal, you are invited to a sunset cocktail party on the top deck.
